Martin Rooney (Strength and Conditioning Coach of Mixed Martial Art Fighters) came up with a Hardcore Conditioning Programme which consist of –

- As many push-ups as you can do in one minute.

Rest 15 seconds.

- As many supinated chin-ups as you can do in one minute.

Rest 15 seconds.

- As many modified sit-ups as you can do in one minute.

Rest 15 seconds.

- As many dips as you can do in one minute.

You need to add up the total repetitions for the whole workout.

Martin Rooney got a total of 152 reps –

T- Muscle’s editor, “Built for Show” Author Nate Green got 133 reps.

Norwegian Trainer Tomas Fjeldberg got 146 reps

I decided to give it a shot.

Honestly, I am not really looking forward to it because I hate high reps and I know this workout is going to be painful.

I had decided to do it in a fitness corner rather than the gym because of a few reasons.

  • Someone might be using one of the equipments and it will interrupt your routine.
  • You can easily find a fitness corner with the chin up and dips station.
  • You might be growling too loud and received complains.

This is a video of me suffering for 4mins 45secs. I got a total of 146 Reps. (68 push up, 22 chin up, 30 Sit up, 26 Dips) Trust me you cant feel your arms after the workout.

Send me an email and tell me your result.
